An Extra Thin Dressing that Works in Mysterious Ways

Jack Logan (Most Helpful Review)

My brother has tried using this before. It covered his large wound. He said that the product is great as it leaves no messy bandages whenever a wound dressing is made. The best thing also is that it is waterproof! Though not as cheap as the other types – but it is absolutely worth it.

Restore Extra Thin Hydrocolloid Dressing Review

Lisa (Most Helpful Review)

I think it was my first time not to have scar after getting injured. On my hand I had a cut and used this dressing for treatment. Since it is already sterile, you don't have to do the extra work to sterilize. What's even better is that it can keep your wounded site moist, which means you will have higher probabilities not to get a scar afterwards. Also convenient for applying ointments!

My wounds are bacteria-free.

Cain (Most Helpful Review)

Sometime last year, I crashed my motorcycle and got big wound on my legs and arms. They look like burns which secrete liquid. This dressing helped me recover fast. Kept all my wounds covered while also making sure that it collects the secretion so that it won't accumulate bacteria.

Fantastic

Lavanda (Most Helpful Review)

This is one of the best products I have ever found for healing sores that nothing else will heal! I have used this for an elderly lady that had a raw open wound and it healed it perfectly!

Soft touch of Allevyn Plus Adhesive Dressing

Jacob (Most Helpful Review)

They have a unique tri-laminate structure and they are designed in a way to prevent microbial growth. It is purely bacteriaproof and waterproof. The wound can be protected by this adhesive dressing with its highly absorbent central hydrocellular layer. It is very soft and so soothes the wound, thereby, keeping it away from dirt and bacteria. It has for protective outer film layer to heal wound. It is great.

DermaFilm Grid Bandage allows measuring healing progress

Trish (Most Helpful Review)

I like to measure everything. The DermaFilm grid bandage allows me the opportunity to visualize the progress being made as the wound heals.

Wonderful product

TimK (Most Helpful Review)

This product was a huge help in treating a large wound on the shin of my left leg. I had developed an infection which caused water blisters to form and pop, leaving about a 5" swath of flesh exposed around my leg, 2" above the ankle. I have severe lymphedema so generally available hydrocolloid dressings would not serve. This product, with a thin layer of sterile gauze to provide structure, allowed me to treat the wound using disposable diapers for bandages (to absorb the large quantity of fluid generated from the lymphedema.) With bandage changes dictated by how full the diapers got, the product helped the wounds eventually seal over an 8 day period. The product does liquefy after application, which means generous applications will run if not covered by gauze to hold it in place. Sticking to the wound was minimal even when I switched from light, individual gauze pads to rolled gauze (when the diapers were no longer needed to absorb the excess fluid.)

Dressing Like No Other!

Avery (Most Helpful Review)

This one works wonderful! It is easy to use even if the area where you need dressing is difficult to dress. The material is light and non-irritant. I have never experienced skin rashes while using this.

Useful product

TimK (Most Helpful Review)

This is a useful product for wounds that are small to moderate in size and present but a light ooze. The bandages are excellent for covering wounds to protect them from stockings and under garments and hold up well during showers. However, the bandages must completely surround the would and have fairly dry skin when applied to create a survivable seal. It the seal is not perfect, use of compression hose will compromise the bandage quickly.

Not as Good as Regular

Gene (Most Helpful Review)

Bandage does not seem to adhere to skin as well as regular Allevyn. I have a wound on buttox and any shifting or other movement makes the bandage unravel. On the any other body part, it might be a different story.

I never received it!

LP32669 (Most Helpful Review)

I would love to give this more than 1 star, but I NEVER received this product. I called customer service and got their "voice mail", left a detailed message and have not heard back....I really need the bandage, but I don't need to pay $$ for nothing.

not what I thought

Robin (Most Helpful Review)

Really my fault. My dermatologist had given me some samples to prevent pressure sores. I was going on memory and looking at pictures but this is not the same. The other kind lasted several days, this gets all bunched up in less than 24 hours. Will definitely ask doctor for the correct name next time.
