3M 1870 Surgical Mask N95 Respirator

The 3M Aura Health Care Particulate Respirator and Surgical Mask provides safety from airborne particles and spatter while maintaining a comfortable fit. This disposable mask is intended to reduce user exposure to certain airborne particles including those generated by electrocautery, laser surgery, and other powered medical instruments. The 3M 1870 N95 surgical respirator is NIOSH-approved. N95 respirators filter at least 95% of airborne particles, meet CDC guidelines for M. tuberculosis exposure control, and are FDA cleared for use as a surgical mask. According to ASTM F1862, The 3M Aura Respirator and Surgical Mask features the highest level of fluid resistance for ultimate protection against blood and other infectious fluid spatter. The unique, three-panel design makes breathing easier, and conforms to a wide range of face shapes. The sculpted top panel with noseclip forms to the nose and contours beneath the eyes to allow more room for eyewear, while providing a custom, secure seal. The embossed top panel reduces eyewear fogging, and the innovative chin tab makes positioning and adjusting easier. This product is latex free, fully disposable and constructed with soft materials that are comfortable to wear against the skin. Possible applications for this product include: Operating rooms, clinics, TB wards, patient care, labor and delivery, infection control practices, laboratories, emergency or pandemic preparedness planning, stockpiling and more. CAUTION: This respirator helps reduce exposure to airborne contaminants. Prior to use, wearer must read and understand the user instructions provided within the product packaging.
