Posey Door Guard Alarm System 8205

Posey Door Guard Alarm System is an effective door alarm guard for wandering patients. These door guard alarms warn caregivers when a patient attempts to exit or enter a door that the medical alarm system is serving. These alarm systems can also be used at home for fall management and wander prevention. These door guard alarms can even be used to prevent children from wandering. The Alarm is quick to sound whenever the 53 inch guard or banner is detached from the door alarm monitor. To help you tell the difference between the Door Guard Alarm and other facility alarms or even another Door Guard Alarm positioned at another door, this door alarm system can be set with five selectable tones. This medical door alarm thereby allows different tones for up to five separate door locations.

Two separate versions of the Posey Door Guard Alarm are available. The first system comes with the Posey Personal Alarm Unit (POS8202L) and the "STOP" sign and banner (POS8210). The second system also comes with the Posey Personal Alarm Unit (POS8202L), but with the "DO NOT ENTER" sign and banner (POS7998) instead.

Both Door Alarm Systems are ideal for use in medical facilities and home use. The signs and banners display either the "STOP" sign or the "DO NOT ENTER" warning in large, bold letters. Each banner type can also be ordered individually without the door alarm unit. One of the great features about this system is that the door alarm monitor can be easily converted to be used as a personal medical alarm with a simple clip and magnet accessory (POS8202LM). The alarm broadcasts at 95 dB sound and meets all OSHA requirements. The Posey Personal Alarm has a sound-dampening plug available to drop the volume level if necessary. Included with your purchase is one 9 volt battery to operate the door alarm unit.
