Mckesson Sterile Cotton Gauze Bandage Roll Overview

The Mckesson Gauze Bandage Roll is a non-sterile cotton gauze to help heal cuts and scrapes. The 6-ply roll offers a cushioned protection against bandages or wraps. When applying the gauze, it is important to cover a perimeter just shortly passed the injured area. The roll design of the gauze makes it easy to apply when trying to cover a wound on a leg or arm. Simply wrap around the area and protect the gauze by wrapping a bandage after the gauze has been applied.

The gauze is absorbent, taking in leakage instead of having a runny trail escaping from the edges. The crinkled design gives the gauze a fluffy, soft, padded feel. The gauze can be used as a primary or secondary dressing, like the Promogran Matrix Wound Dressing. When replacing the gauze, make sure the wound is cleaned and wiped with disinfectant, then proceed to apply the new dressing - this will help the wound heal faster and prevent bacteria that can cause infections from growing.

When treating a wound make sure you properly sanitize by disinfecting the wounded area, you can do so with one of our cleansers such as the Wound Wash Simply Saline.
