One Touch Ping Insulin Pump from Animas Corporation is a Glucose Management System that may be accessed both wirelessly using a remote and manually. The One Touch Ping Remote provides a full set of functions that allows diabetic patients easier and more discreet control over their Insulin Pump. Diabetes patients can control and initiate an insulin dose using the remote blood glucose meter which is similar in size to a cell phone. The remote glucose meter allows the user to calculate insulin doses and opt to wirelessly instruct the insulin pump to deliver insulin without having to touch the pump. The remote meter is capable of dosing the necessary bolus of insulin with its own bolus calculator and stores the nutritional value of 500 food items from the CalorieKing® food database.
This Glucose Management System provides easy and accurate carb counting and automatically calculates a correction dose using the last reading. The One Touch Ping Remote also keeps track of bolus insulin that has been delivered and still active in the body preventing hypoglycemia. One Touch Ping Insulin Pump can be clipped to a belt, tucked in a pocket or secured under clothing. The One Touch Ping Insulin Pump is waterproof up to 12 feet for 24 hours. Equipped with a flat panel color screen, the One Touch Ping Insulin Pump provides outstanding readability under any conditions. The One Touch Ping Insulin Pump delivers the smallest basal increment of 0.025 U/hr available and a bolus rate as low as 0.05 U/hr for fine-tuned insulin dosing to more precisely match individual needs. The Animas One Touch Ping Insulin Pump comes with 4 year warranty on the remote blood glucose meter and insulin pump.

If you need to return your pump because you HATE IT and dont want it.....these people are the absolute worse.
I received my pump 2/11/2012. I wore it for 9 days and hated it. Went back to my old pump--thank God the salesperson (Bryan) FAILED at his job and had not sent me the forms to trade my other pump from a different manufacturer in. Otherwise I would have been stuck using this or going back to an even older model I have in my backup pump supply.
Between billing and the returns department...these people dont know their heads from a hole in the ground, nor do they respond to emails.
Anyhow, after contacting them about returning it, I was finally able to reach someone who figured out that after pumping for 13 years, I knew what I was talking about and that nothing on this earth or anywhere else would make me keep this thing and it would be wise for them to send me shipping labels so I can return it (luckily I live on the east coast and threatening to drive to West Chester fumiing gets their attention).
I receive an invoice for something I am trying to return, I get passed on to 3 different people with the end result being I am to receive a shipping label and not to mail it back without this specific label (makes sense right?). Ha!
I receive another invoice--still havent received shipping labels, so I call again and am put through the same cycle of transfers, with the same lame response about receiving shipping labels. Any bets on whether I receive those labels?
Month 3: same scenario, same result.
Well if you speak with Max----he lied about getting those shipping labels to me
If you get Hillary to say she will send you return labels...more lies.
Month 4: I've had it and let the person on-call feel my rage because this is ridiculous.
Today, I got Joe on the phone and he said he doesnt know why I didnt get the labels, but I would have the labels in 3 days.
I let Joe know that if I dont receive those labels in 3 days as he has claimed, I BETTER NOT EVER recieve another letter/invoice or anything else from Animas because they will have just gifted me that Ping and I will gift it straight to the trash!
