It does not have a border as it is designed to be cut to fit the specific wound shape. When placed on top of a clean wound, it conforms to the wound and seals and protects wound from outside bacteria. It can also be used under compression. Users are happy to know that with Safetac Technology, this is a non-adherent wound dressing to ensure minimal pain when dressing is changed. This technology also creates a moist wound bed and reduces risk of maceration.

Mepilex 294199 Absorbent Foam Dressing with Safetac Technology is 4 x 4 inches and is available as a single dressing, box of 5 or case of 70. Since it does not have a border to secure to skin, you can also apply Tubifast 2-Way Strech Tubular Bandage to keep the dressing in place.
