McKesson 16-602326 All Purpose 4 x 4 Inch Gauze Sponges are 4-ply cotton-made gauze sponges made with 100 percent non-woven cotton material that's able to protect the wound obtaining bacteria. Each sponge is 16 square inches in space and square-shaped to allow for maximum coverage all around the wound. Able to absorb more than woven gauze, these single-use pieces are individually packed for sterility so there's no concern over infection. Though these are for all-around usage they are perfect for several exudating wound types.

The all-purpose sponge is ideal for several uses such as cleaning, prepping and scrubbing wounds as well as be used for wound dressings. These will also resist fraying and residual lint. To avoid allergic reactions, the sponge is not made with any latex products.
