This woven cotton is 8-ply to add soft and gentle layers that absorb well to wick away exudate or be gently when applying ointment. These characteristics make the gauze ideal for wound care such as packing, cleaning or dressing the wound. There are two gauze sponges in each peelable pouch for fast and easy application. The packaging also maintains the sterile sponge to not introduce bacteria to the wound. The woven construction also reduces linting.
