The Link2Cell backlight LED display is on both the corded and cordless phone to aid in viewing caller's name at-a-glance. Simply add phone numbers of friends and family to the directory. When they call, the Talking Caller ID feature will announce the name so you can decide the urgency of taking the call if you are otherwise engaged. If call goes to voicemail, the digital answering system provides up to 18 minutes of recording time so callers have plenty of time to leave a message without being cut off. The display will flash to notify you of a new voicemail.
