Description
The Huntleigh Multi Dopplex II Bi-directional Doppler is one of the most advanced hand held units in the world. It's display provides information on flow direction and unit status.
Combined with one of the new High Sensitivity Probes, it is ideal for assessment of Peripheral Arterial Disease, the Diabetic Foot and venous problems. It can be linked to the Dopplex reporter software package for high quality wave form reports or the Dopplex Printa for single waveform recordings.
The Multi Dopplex II unit can be used by surgeons, physicians, podiatrists, GP's, and would care specialists who are interested in bi-directional flow and waveforms. It can also display fetal heart Rate when using an OP2HS probe.
The Multi DOPPLEX II also calculates and prints FHR.
Bi-directional Doppler allows visualization of blood flow direction during the cardiac cycle; this is useful when assessing patients with peripheral vascular disease and detecting the presence of venous reflux.
The gain control on this Dopplex can be used to change the sensitivity of the bi-directional indicators. It is also used to change the height of the blood flow waveforms when printing. This has the advantage that the clinician can review large and clear waveforms from different blood vessels.
