Exuderm RCD Hydrocolloid by Medline, MSC5200 is a wound dressing designed as a healing bandage for all stages of wounds. Unlike some dressings, such as the Eclypse Secondary Wound Dressing, it can be applied as a primary or secondary dressing. It creates a moist wound environment, which promotes healing and reduces the risk of scarring. It is a 4 x 4 inch square dressing that was made for wounds that are shallow with minimal to moderate drainage. It is highly absorbent and provides a wound environment with less meltdown, which results in easier wound irrigation and less dressing changes.
