The sensor can be worn up to six days to effectively transmit glucose levels to an insuline pump and continuous monitoring system. Its been shown to be highly accurate and detects up to 96 percent of hypoglycemic events. The Enlite Glucose Sensor is inserted onto clean skin using the Enlite Serter insertion device. The Enlite Glucose Sensor is compatible with MiniMed Paradigm Insulin Pump Systems and Continuous Glucose Monitoring Systems (CGM), and Guardian CGM system.
