This in fact my Elastomull review
I made a mistake before, but I will tell you how I feel about Elastomull. This is a key part of bandaging, but more a component to lay down a special ointment or treatment whether its simply a mix of baby oil and vasoline, or a antifungal or bacterial. This thin and elastic gauze will hold it tight against the skin and not absorb every bit of it like some of the fluffy kinds of gauze. While it is absorbant, it isn't thick and therefore won't absorb it all quickly. If you are bleeding or leaking profusely, I would think you want a nice layer or two of the fluffy gauze, then keep it in place with this gauze, and finally if it is prone to slippage or falling down, such as your legs, then put a bit of hypafix tape at the top. A single round with half on skin and half on gauze to keep it in place for the full day. Perhaps an extra round at the ankle if it tends to get loose. I give the leg as an example since that is my particular problem so I am familiar with it. Since it holds its shape very well, I would think it would be good for stuffing of open wounds till they get pink enough to let them salt themselves closed the rest of the way. I have had abdominal wounds too, and it is very hard to keep bandages over the afflicted area, this gauze wrapped around the waist with its elastic characteristics would do an excellent job of that also. As far as I know, there is no other brand that makes a better bandage of this type. I have used several that just fall apart and are not made with much quality in mind.

I meant prior review for Hypafix 4x10
I am sorry but the review I previously gave I meant for the Hypafix 4inch by 10yd tape. I messed up, the box looked similar and I had forgotten the exact name. I just went and checked my supplies, and the review was for Hypafix

Amazing Product
I wrap my legs daily to keep them moist from the knees down and my bandages always slip down after an hour or two with every tape I have tried till this one. This wide bandage at 4 inches grabs 2 inches of skin and 2 of gauze and holds it up. You only need it at the very top, but it is sorta expensive so that helps the logic of the expense. It moves and flexes with the skin and holds on tight. I have had it hold 18 hours without flaw. I imagine it would hold longer. It breaths nicely and is very comfortable. The only negative is when you take it off it leaves gray marks where the edges of the tape were that are hard to wash off. But beside that it is absolutely a god send for me because until I found this tape my legs were never properly bandaged.
