D100N Silicone CPAP Nasal Mask Replacement Parts & Accessories include the D100N-H Headgear, D100N Pads, and D100N Cushions.
The headgear stabilizes the mask on your head. After a while, the elasticity will give and the hook and loop strap will become worn. You will need to replace the headgear, approximately, every 6 months.
The cushion is what rests over your nose and delivers therapeutic pressure. After extended time, the cushion will begin to break down. When it breaks down, you will begin to lose therapeutic pressures through leaks. This can cause skin irritation and more respiratory disturbances. You will need to replace your cushion every 1-3 months, depending upon care.
The pad rests on your forehead, which further stabilizes the mask. In addition, the pad allows for more comfort. Eventually, you will need to replace the forehead pad. CPAP specialists recommend that you replace the pad as often as you replace your cushion.
