In addition, the strip is 15 feet long for filling wounds and for wet-to-dry packing. Packing the wound cavity is essential when the wound must heal from the inside out. Filling the wound bed promotes faster healing and creates a moist wound environment. Curity Iodoform absorbs wound exudate with its woven design. The gauze is woven tightly into a fine mesh to minimize the risk of the gauze sticking to the wound bed. It's impregnated with Iodoform, a crystalline organic compound of iodine that offers antiseptic properties.

Iodoform strips are packaged in a bottle that's sterile and ready for application. It can be purchased by the bottle or purchased in a case of 12 bottles.
