Covidien 8044 Curity™ 4 x 4 Inch 4 Ply All Purpose Sponge Gauze adds patient comfort with its soft rayon and polyester construction. As an economy line of gauze sponges, by Covidien, it offers value with performance. The poly blend of materials create high absorbency with low-linting to be helpful in a number of wound care and instrument cleaning applications. The gauze sponge is packaged sterile for safety and won't cross-contaminate.

These all-purpose sponges are available in a single pack of two sponges or a box of 25 easy-peal packs with two sponges. Bulk purchasing is also available with a 24 boxes for a total of 1200 sterile sponges.

For minor abrasions, you may also be interested in antibiotic ointment to aid in faster healing.
