Covidien 3085 KERLIX 6 x 6-3/4 Inch Super Sponge Gauze 6 Ply by Covidien offers an absorbent crinkle weave to effectively soak up wound exudate as a primary dressing. This transfer of exudate is important in preventing maceration for faster healing. The crinkle-weave pattern adds softness against the wound and allows the wound to breathe. The woven cotton material is prewashed and fluff dried to create extra loft and bulk with a 6-ply construction for additional comfort.

The Kendall Kerlix™ Super Sponge measures 6 x 6 3/4 inches and is packaged with a diamond fold with finished edges for absorbency and to create a lint-free application. This design makes it ideal for a primary or secondary dressing, wound cleansing and wound packing. Its lint-free construction and sterile packaging makes it ideal for pre-op prepping and instrument cleaning applications.
