As a primary dressing, these 6-ply Bulkee® sponges quickly wick away exudate to balance moisture making it an ideal primary dressing. The sterile packaging means the gauze sponge can be in direct contact with the wound without any risk of contamination to the wound to promote faster healing. Each packet contains two sterile dressings to prevent waste and provide easy application when prepping the wound. Add a MedFix Dressing Retention Tape to secure the sponge for a complete wound care system.

The woven sponge's absorbency is also matched by its strength. This adds other important medical uses such as pre op prepping or cleaning, debriding and packing.

There are several size options available making it easy to stock the sponges for home use or a case of 240 packs for medical clinics.
