Description
BD Vacutainer Push Button Blood Collection Set has safety as its first priority. The push button can be activated in-vein to protect patients and caregivers from infections from contaminated needles as well as needle-stick injuries. With a push of the button the needle clicks and retracts, leaving no chance for someone to be pricked on accident.
The one-handed safety activation makes it easy to attend to the puncture site while removing the collection set. Its ease of use and simplicity also reduce training time, so caregivers have more time to do what they do best.
This collection set has a translucent body, so the caregiver can see the blood flashback to confirm venous action. It also has large wings to help position and insert the needle. The collection set can be used for short term infusion too.
The BD Push Button comes with a luer adapter perfect for connecting a tube holder, such as the Jelco Saf-T Holder Blood Transfer Device.
