This durable 35 x 8 inch Patient Transfer Board has an extended length to provide adequate surface area. It's made out of simple Baltic Birchwood but it's known for its sturdy structure that can support up to 600 pounds. The birch is given a clear lacquer finish to prevent wood splinters but it also creates a smooth surface that's helpful during the transfer. The ends are rounded and tapered for safety and slightly beveled to make the transition easier.

Another important design element of the Drive RTL7047 Bariatric Transfer Board is that it has two cut-out handles for better handhold when shifting the weight on and over the board. The hand holes are cut out in two directions for extra leverage during transfer. After the transfer is complete, its thin profile makes storing the transfer board simple and easy.
