Arthritic Gloves are used for therapeutic compression to help relieve joint pain in the hands. These compression gloves help reduce arthritic pain and swelling. Manufactured by Brownmed, these gloves provide mild compression to the hand and lower wrist, enhancing blood flow and increased circulation.
Arthritis Gloves are comfortable for all-day wear and will provide the hands warmth. Made with soft, breathable cotton Lycra®, IMAK Arthritis Gloves reduce aching and stiffness associated with arthritis. IMAK Arthritic Gloves are latex free.
Wearing the gloves will not interfere with handling objects or typing on a keyboard because of the open fingertip design of the gloves. The open fingertips also provide freedom to touch, feel, and grasp objects. The unique design of the IMAK Arthritis Gloves also promotes healing from the mild compression. Designed by an orthopedic surgeon, IMAK Arthritis Gloves have earned the Arthritis Foundation's Ease of Use Commendation for its design. - Awesome Gloves For the Price
I wear these all of the time, except when I need to get my hands wet, and I should have measured instead of guesstimated because I probably need a small, but that was no fault of the gloves. I have polyneuropathy as well as arthritis and these gloves help more than the medications I have used in the past. The advertising seems right on the mark about adding support but very useful to have just the fingertips show, so you can do almost anything and even in temperatures nearing the hundred degree mark, my hands feel cooler than anywhere else, and if I sweat I don't notice it because they stay dry unless you grab a wet goldfish that missed the waterfall when trying to go upstream and I did decide to wash them after that adventure, but they wash well and dry quickly.
I would have given these a five star rating, but while the sales price is advertised as half off, I have found them elsewhere at regular prices only a few dollars more, so they seem way overpriced if at a bit over eleven dollars was half off. I got a good deal for the price, but if they go up a few dollars I could probably find them at another online stores full price and while I will likely keep buying these awesome gloves here if they stay at the advertised half price which saves a few dollars, I would go elsewhere if they sell these for close to twenty three dollars. I look for quality but I am also very frugal, so I shop for products of the highest quality at the most reasonable price. These gloves met both of the things I was looking for when I purchased them, but they were advertised at half price, and had I seen them at twice what I paid, I knew they could be found for less than twice what I paid for them. I also am always a bit on the skeptical side of advertising, so I was pleasantly surprised when my order arrived.
The gloves exceeded my expectations and they are very soft so I expected that they would wear out quickly, they are still as sturdy now as when I first tried them on. I sleep in mine and when I wake up in the morning my fingers aren't nearly as curled up and sore, and this saves me about half an hour a day of extra finger and hand exercises. With everyone wearing sports gloves all year round, no one has made fun of me yet for wearing gloves in the summer, and I am amazed that they don't wear out quickly as any similar gloves I have purchased before, and none of them covered the aching knuckles while leaving fingertip room to do delicate jobs.
I will buy these again in a smaller size for when my hands aren't swollen which is my excuse for not measuring the first time, and as long as they remain on sale at a bit over eleven dollars, I will buy them here.
The shipping was also faster than I expected, and the gloves are awesome and for a half price sale the price was reasonable, but the full price at other online stores were only a few dollars more, and if you plan to buy several pairs and look for good prices as well as the best quality as I do, I suggest some price shopping as well. I have not found these gloves anywhere else for the price I found here. I would recommend these gloves to anyone with arthritis or other hand pain because they let me at least function much better than I did without these gloves, and they are much higher quality than any arthritis gloves I have bought and worn twice and put them back in their box and they are in the drawer where I keep similar things that don't meet the expectations I had when I ordered them. These more than met my expectations and I hope they keep making them. I hope Vitality Medical continues to carry the high quality products that seem to be a step or two better than most, and I hope the price of these gloves are reduced to what others sell for as their regular price, because they carry high quality products from what I have ordered and they live up to their description of their products, based upon my experience of the products I have ordered, and as with these gloves, the products meet and usually exceed my expectations. The only reason I couldn't give these gloves all five stars, is that once they go back to double what I paid, which was a good deal, they can be found anywhere that I looked for a few dollars more. The gloves by themselves, if price is not a consideration, would get a five star rating from me. As long as they stay on sale they are a good deal as well, but few products stay at half price sales forever.
- they do work
the first day when I started to use them when I crocheting, they helped me so I can still do what I love without hurting as much, and so I can crochet for much longer time.
- Poor quality
When I first started wearing the Arthritis glove I could tell the difference. My hand didn't feel fatigue and it compressed very well. I actually purchased 2 sets I hand wash them about once a week. However the quality is not very good. There are holes in the gloves which I am not pleased about.
- Arthritis Gloves Review
I am so happy to have these gloves. These are so comfortable and give me a great feeling of comfort. I feel so relaxed wearing these gloves and these have reduced my wrist pain to a great extent. Thanks you so much for providing me this product.
- WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND
T HE GLOVES ARE GREAT FOR KEEPING SWELLING DOWN. I'VE BEENUSING THEM FOR ALMOST 2 YEARS NOW.
- Great product.
I have purchased other similiar products in the past, these are the best. Easy to wear and comfortable. Great investment for pain relief.
- Works well but had stitching issues
I purchased the gloves to help with a circulation issue, and that worked well. There were two areas where the stitching had problems: 1) around the thumb there was a hole-noticed the first time I put the glove on and 2) on one of the fingers, a hole developed at the stitching line after about 10 uses - not sure if it was due to pulling the glove on and off, or if it was due to a spot I just didn't see for a few days.
- din't work on me
tried it out and I was still in pain when sleeping
I love these gloves. I sleep with them on and my hands feel so much better in the morning.
- They help A LOT!!
My finger joints ache from rheumatoid arthritis. I didn't know if these gloves would help or not, but they make a HUGE difference. I'd highly recommend them to anyone with finger, hand or wrist pain.
- Warm and comfortable.
I am using these for arthritis and scar tissue compression, they work very well for both uses but are not very durable, seams come undone quickly and unravel leaving you to hand sew them back up or return them. I found that a TINY drop of super glue on the ends of all the seams helps a lot to keep them from unraveling.
- Comfy, but short on life
These are my 2nd pair of Imak gloves. I'm not sure how much they really help, but they're really comfortable. I wore the original pair at work all winter. I gave them 3 stars because they started coming apart at the seams after just a few months.
- Good but not Great
I bought the size small as suggested in the measurement guide. The 1st time I wore them they were stretched out feeling after only a few minutes. I a higher lycra content in the fabric would help. If you have small hands they might be too big. I'm not sure they will hold up after washing as the stitching is already raveling. I've tried several types of arthritis gloves and these are the best so far.
- Not very well made.
Other than the not very well made problem, the gloves work well for me. I think they would have to be finished off by hand to get around the problems with 'ends' of threads sticking out, etc. Machines are only good for things that don't require hand-work!
- Arthritic Gloves that Are Cute!
These arthritis gloves are soft and keep my hands warm. I have rhuematoid arthritis and work in a very busy office. They keep my hands from swelling!
