Amerigel Hydrogel Wound Dressing Advanced Formula by Amerx Health Care, A2001 is a designed to promote wound healing. Similar to the Acticoat Moisture Control wound dressing, it extends moisture control by providing a moist wound environment and reduces the potential for scarring. It is used to treat diabetic skin ulcers, venous stasis ulcer, post-surgical incisions, stage I-IV pressure ulcers, cuts, abrasions, and burns. Each tube contains 1 ounce of form gel, which is made from meadowsweet extract, oakin (oak extract), and polyethylene glycol 400.
