Smith and Nephew, manufacturers of several foam dressings created the Allevyn Gentle Border 3 x 3 Inch Dressing in order to cover a smaller wound. The three-inch square adhesive is gentle enough on the skin to apply and remove without causing any irritation. A two-inch squared pad is the perfect size for covering a spot-sized exudating wound or abrasion. The gentle border is perfect for shallow, full, infected, malignant and surgical wounds. This will also perform well against dermal abrasions and donor sites.
