Description
Hollister Adapt Paste is an Ostomy Barrier Paste. Like other ostomy care products, this product effectively fills in and around the ostomy barrier or appliance to prevent leakage underneath the barrier to protect the skin. It also improves skin barrier fit as well. This product is a blend of hydrocolloids to create a filler like caulk but is not a medical adhesive to attach a barrier.
Adapt Skin Barrier Paste is available in two sizes options, such as Adapt Paste 2 ounce tube (Hollister 79300) and .5 ounce tube (Hollister 79301), which can be purchased individually or in bulk to always have the paste on hand.
You may want to check out some other Adapt products. Hollister also manufacturers Medical Adhesive Remover to clean the skin once the barrier is removed, which may leave behind residue.
