The ResMed Ultra Mirage Mask is one of the popular Mirage series masks known for superior comfort and fit. The Mask is packaged fully assembled with cushion, headgear and frame and will be ready to use as soon as you are. The Ultra Mirage is easy to fit, just position the forehead support and secure the headgear straps. The forehead support can be easily adjusted using only one hand. The mask also features release clips that quickly detach the headgear, eliminating further fitting after the straps have been adjusted. ResMed also added a quick release swivel that easily disconnects the mask from the air tubing. But for all the convenience, the Ultra loses nothing in stability as four points of attachment are designed between the mask frame and the headgear.Three cushion sizes are available which will fit almost all patients. The standard cushion has statistically fit 80% of patients alone. An added cushion clip provides security and ensures that your cushion will stay firmly attached to the frame even during bilevel treatment or when high pressures are delivered to the patient.The cushion is covered by a soft silicone membrane which will eliminate pressure on the nose bridge. It works by inflating as air flows through the mask, gently positioning it against the face. This way, the Ultra Mirage forms a secure seal without having to tighten the headgear straps, and even reduces the possibility of pressure sores. A uniquely designed air vent is also built into the mask elbow so that the patient can choose the direction of the airflow in a full 360° as the exhaled air follows the direction of the tubing.
