An effective guard against wandering patients, the Posey Door Guard/Do Not Enter Alarm is ideal for use in facilities. This being said, it can also be used at home for fall and wander prevention programs. It can even be used to prevent children from wandering. The Alarm is quick to sound whenever the 53" Guard/Banner is detached from the monitor. To help you tell the difference between it and other facility alarms, the Door Guard/Do Not Enter Alarm has five selectable tones to choose from. Two banner types are available, the first is a Door Guard Banner that displays a STOP sign symbol. The second is a DO NOT ENTER banner alarm that displays a "do not enter" warning in large, bold letters. Each banner type can also be ordered individually without the alarm unit. One of the great features about this system is that the monitor (alarm unit) can be easily converted to be used as a Posey Personal Alarm with simple individual clip and magnet usage. The alarm broadcasts at 95 dB and meets all OSHA requirements. Plus a sound-dampening plug is available to drop the volume level if necessary. Included with your purchase is one 9V battery to operate the complete system.
