Based off the Mirage mask technology, the Activa Mask is designed for patients who move a lot during sleep. The Mirage Activa uses ActiveCell technology to reform the mask's cushion to adapt to your changes in position; thus maintaining the seal so necessary for comfortable delivery. Five main features make up the Mirage Activa mask:  A one-snap elbow makes air tube removal simple and easy while you are still wearing the mask Four mask positions are made available with an adjustable forehead support Quick release headgear clips Flexible forehead pads that conform to the shape of your face Plus the ActiveCell technology What is ActiveCell?The ActiveCell is an inflatable chamber in the cushion which automatically expands and contracts, allowing the frame to move independently of the mask cushion; keeping the cushion in place and maintaining an active seal. The average person moves 50 times a night, and each movement can affect mask position and break the seal necessary for effective PAP therapy. ActiveCell compensates for movement, changes in facial muscle tone, tension in the headgear strap, and the therapy pressure. The Activa mask allows you to rest your head right in the center of your pillow, even when you sleep on your side.
