The Joey is attitude independent. That means that it will operate right side up, upside down or oriented in any direction. So the Kangaroo Joey is the only ambulatory flush pump available. The Joey pump can deliver very small amounts of fluid while not actively feeding when the "Keep Tube Open" feature is active. This feature allows the patient to receive a medication and then not have to remember to turn the pump on later.
