Invacare SOLO2 is a portable oxygen concentrator, providing increased mobility for oxygen therapy patients. The SOLO2 portable oxygen machine provides ambulatory oxygen for active patients who desire the freedom to move about. Manufactured by a world leader in oxygen therapy, Invacare has just added this new product to their existing oxygen therapy product line. This portable oxygen machine offers continuous flow oxygen up to 3 LPM or pulse dose oxygen in settings 1-5. As a portable medical oxygen device, it is flexible, reliable and a clinically robust system that is easy to operate. The supplemental battery and the AC or DC power options offer patients the freedom and flexibility to go just about anywhere without the concern of running out of oxygen. Invacare expects the SOLO2 to gain approval from the FAA as an air transportable oxygen concentrator, as it has for its other portable oxygen concentrators. The Invacare Solo2 is equipped with a wheeled cart, allowing oxygen therapy patients to easily tote the portable oxygen concentrator. The SOLO2 cart comes with large diameter wheels and 2.5 inch raised platform. These cart specifications help to keep the cart off the ground and away from water, snow and dirt. Sleek and stylish, this portable oxygen machine easily maneuvers in stores, malls and sidewalks. The transportability of the SOLO2 oxygen concentrator makes this home oxygen device much less burdensome and confining to many who have previously been tethered to their large, bulky home oxygen concentrators. The small profile of the SOLO2 concentrator allows the oxygen patient to easily store the portable oxygen device within their car or during air travel. The design of the Invacare SOLO2 oxygen generator is to provide maximum mobility for oxygen patients and to become the portable oxygen concentrator of choice. The high oxygen output for the SOLO2 Portable Oxygen Concentrator allows many oxygen patients to use the concentrator in a dual role--as home oxygen therapy and as a mobile or travel oxygen concentrator. Many oxygen therapy patients no longer have to purchase two oxygen generators or worry about scheduling oxygen cylinder deliveries or paying costly oxygen delivery service fees. For oxygen therapy patients requiring higher doses of oxygen than the 3 LPM of continuous flow of the SOLO2, you may want to consider a stationary or home oxygen concentrator which provide up to 10 LPM of oxygen.
