Each individual item is described below and you can also view the items technical specifications here.The Core of the Everest - the Everest 2 CPAP  The Everest 2 Integrated System CPAP unit is the next step in convenience and functionality. It boasts a 4-20 cmH2O pressure level and an adjustable ramp time that can be set by the patient themselves. Leak Compensation is also built into the unit to maximize airflow and oxygen delivery. The Everest 2 has also been designed for travel, featuring automatic altitude adjustment and an international power supply. Now you can take your CPAP with you on the road or overseas! But, what really makes the Everest 2 stand out from its competitors is its ability to be seamlessly integrated with both a heated humidifier and a battery. This battery makes the Everest 2 the most portable and convenient CPAP unit on the market. This portability is made even more possible by the unit's light weight. The CPAP weighs only 2.1 lbs, and even when combined the the humidifier and the battery, it still weighs under 5 lbs! This means you can the take the Everest 2 camping, hiking, boating, driving, on the golf course, almost anywhere you can imagine.The Integrated System Includes:- 6' - 22 mm hose

Humidification - the Everest Heated Humidifier The humidifier is completely heated and uses a docking bay to slide directly onto the bottom of the CPAP itself. This connection eliminates the need for another power source for the humidifier and puts all the controls in one place. To use the humidifier you only need to press the humidifier button on the CPAP and make adjustments as needed.
Portability - the Everest Battery The optional battery of the Everest 2 provides uninterrupted oxygen delivery even when the power goes out and gives you a freedom previously unattained by standard CPAPs. You can get 11 hours worth of 10 cmH2O with non-heated humidification from one charge of the battery. Please note however, that heat settings will reduce battery time by no less than 50% and that actual battery life will vary dependent upon your specific pressure and heat settings. To make battery use even more convenient, the recharge time for a completely dead battery is under 4 hours, so you can be back to business in no time. Keeping track of your battery life has also been made simple with an easy to read 4 bar capacity display. You only need to keep tracking of which bar your on and you'll always be aware of how much battery life you have left.Mobility - the Everest Mobile Adapter The Mobile Adapter is the ultimate accessory for the consummate traveler. You can use it to plug your Everest 2 directly into any mobile power receptacle, such as a cigarette lighter, be it in a car, a motorhome, a boat, or wherever. It will power the CPAP system with the heated humidifier attached without difficulty, or can be used to recharge the unit in under 4 hours while you're away from the vehicle. Delivery - the Headrest The makers of the new Headrest state that "It's more than just headgear." This unique new oxygen delivery system creates a new standard of comfort in oxygen delivery.The Headrest is compatible with EVO's proprietary Medium, Large, and Extra Large size nasal seals which guarantee a Perfect Fit for any patient. The seals rest lightly at the nares, actually touching only the very perimeter of them. For your convenience Vitality Medical sells the Headrest in a Kit with both Medium and Large Seals, and each seal size individually.Compliance - the DataRest Compliance SystemThe DataRest Compliance System is a unique way for caregivers and patients themselves to make sure they're getting proper treatment. The Everest 2 CPAP will tell you the total therapy hours, how many sessions have occured, and the total amount of blower hours. It has 13 months of daily compliance storage so you can monitor over a year's worth of treatment in one easy glance. For added convenience you can purchase the DataRest Patient Kit and individual DataCards to download your compliance information. This makes changing settings easier and racking individual patients progress a much simpler task.
