Description of Drive Medical Winnie II Wheelchairs with Front Riggings:

The Drive Medical Winnie II is the next step in the evolution of one the most successful and practical manual wheelchairs. Featuring a single axle for improved stability and mobility, the Winnie II rolls easily on composite wheels with urethane tires. And since durability is one of the most important features of any wheelchair, the Winnie II is built on a powder coated steel frame and features composite hand-rims and wheels. The wheels also feature pull to lock wheel locks. Plus, to make the Winnie as maintenance free as possible, the wheels feature sealed precision bearings which do not need to be frequently lubed or re-worked. The embossed vinyl upholstery is durable, light-weight, attractive, and like the plastic arms and calf pads, is easy to clean.

Drive Medical is also one of the few manufacturers to include front riggings with the wheelchair out-of-box. Easily mounting to the hanger bracket, the Winnie accommodates Hemi spacing rigging with plastic footplates. The Winnie II package is one of the most complete wheelchairs on the market.
