This model has quiet, smooth operation controlled by a large buttoned, easy to operate pendant. This bed is even packaged with Full Length Side Rails and an 80" Innerspring Mattress from Drive Medical. The controlling pendant itself has a clip that allows it to be mounted over bed rail and will operate hand and foot section at the same time. Also a back and foot adjustment allow for an anatomically correct sleep surface. It should be noted that though the head and foot section adjust electronically, height of the bed itself adjusts manually.The bed frame is constructed from channel frame steel to provide superior strength and to reduce weight. The frame also resists twisting and bending due to reinforcements running through the frame while a zinc coated spring deck protects the primary sleeping surface. All this is based off of heavery duty, vinyl clad bed ends (head and foot) that are not only attractive in any decor and easy to maintain, but are also interchangeable with Invacare and Sunrise.Bed is easy to assemble. Constructed of 1" chrome-plated steel for strength and durability, these rails feature spring-loaded crossbars that are easy to install and remove. Plus these rails telescope with the movement of the bed and can be easily adjusted up or down with spring-loaded release. Rails come with a Limited Lifetime Warrany.Item Number 15006 80" Innerspring Mattress:The Drive Medical 80" Innerspring Mattress features a high quality inner spring designa, and is constructed of premium grade cotton and high-density urethane foam for maximum comfort and increased durability. To help make cleaning simple and easy. The mattress has a waterproof, anti-bacterial, anti-static vinyl cover. It also features two screen brass side vents to allow mattress to breathe. Comes with a 1 year warranty.
