The 22" Sentra Bariatric Wheelchair has an overall width of 31", a seat width of 22", and wieghs 55.8 lbsDrive Medical's Sentra Bariatric wheelchairs are dual axle and are built from a Carbon Steel frame with a triple coated chrome finish. The frame has been reinforced with steel gussets at all weight bearing points to provide the additional strength necessary to support 500 lbs. The side frame has also been completely reinforced with dual cross bars stretching underneath the chair and caster journals. Equally strong as the frame, the wheels are composed of composite material with a mag style. Each wheel has chrome handrims attached to make movement of the chair easy and guarantees long term use. Also, precision sealed bearings in both the front and rear wheels ensure long lasting performance and reliability. The front wheels are flat-free 8" casters that can be adjusted to three different positions.The seat and back are composed of durable, heavy gauge, reinforced naugahyde upholstery complete with matching padded armrests. A carry pocket is also integrated into the back of the seat. The stately black color of the upholstery matches any cover or cushion accessory, as well as the black calf pads on the option Swing-away Elevating Legrest. With lightweight, crack-proof, aluminum footplates, the front riggings are an excellent addition to any chair. The wheelchair does not come standard with front riggings.
