The model 495 and 4951 stationary mechanical beam scales provide the economical answer to the weighing of patients in wheelchairs. Its quality is inherited from Detecto's eye-level physician scale and incorporates a precision die cast weigh beam which is easily read from either side. The weigh beam is located at a height above the platform where the patient or attendant can perform the weighing operation. The ramp is removable and is covered with a non-skid mat. The die-cast, dual-sided beam is graduated in 1/4 lb (or .1 kg) increments for easy readability.Customers specializing in the care of nonambulatory patients provided information which was transferred into features and benefits of these scales, evident the first time you use the scale!

Returns: Returns will not be accepted unless approved in writing. To obtain return authorization, call 1-800-397-5899. After authorization, returns must be shipped to the Detecto factory FREIGHT PREPAID. No replacements after 90 days.Note: It is important that the Return Authorization number appear on the outside of the box, near the shipping label. The package cannot be accepted without the RA number showing on the outside of the box.Re-Stocking Fees: % charge is based on price of the product before shipping.25% charge: When the scale has been opened and used. No trouble is found on the returned unit.
20% charge: When the scale has been ordered incorrectly or refused upon delivery and another model is not desired.
10% charge: When the scale is ordered incorrectly but a replacement scale is ordered.
0% charge: When a scale is returned because of a Detecto error.No returns will be accepted after 90 days.
