Here is a new product that has been introduced just in time to replace the discontinued Therevac SB Mini Enemas. Enemeez were developed by someone very familiar with the Therevac product. Enemeez and Therevac use the same ingredients. Each use 283 mg of the active ingredient Docusate Sodium. Both products even contain Medicinal soft soap, Polyethylene Glycol and Glycerin.Enemeez are arguably better than Therevac. Enemeez use a simple twist off ampule that is far easier to administer than Therevac. This twist off smooth tip eliminates rectal tearing as well. If you were a Therevac user we understand your situation. Enemeez is the perfect replacement for Theravac SB and is a great replacement for Theravac Plus.
The following is adapted from the Manufacturer's recommendations.
Caution:
 Discontinue use if resistance is encountered. Forcing the Enemeez Mini Enema may result in injury or damage to the rectum. If the Enemeez Mini Enema stool softener is not administered properly and occasional rectal examinations are not performed, serious complications can arise. Occasional rectal exams are important for patients with impaired rectal function, especially loss of sensation.
Precautions:
If there is rectal irritation or a rash around the anus, the Enemeez Mini Enema stool softener should be discontinued. Prolonged administration of the Enemeez Mini Enema stool softner together with mineral oil should be avoided.
Warnings:
Do not use laxative products or stool softeners like the Enemeez Mini Enemas, when abdominal pain, nausea or vomiting are present nor for a period longer than one week. If you have noticed a sudden change in bowel habits while taking Enemeez Mini Enema stool softener that persists, consult a doctor before using the Enemeez Mini Enemas again. Rectal bleeding or failure to have a bowel movement after use of a laxative or stool softener, such as Enemeez Mini Enemas, may indicate a serious condition. Discontinue use and consult your doctor.

This product is employed for the relief of constipation due to infrequent or difficult bowel movements. Enemeez penetrates and softens the stool, thereby promoting bowel movement. It is indicated for dyschezia, lesions of the anus that make defecation painful, impaction associated with megacolon, anal fissure, and postoperative and atresia. It has been employed successfully in bedridden patients and those patients with decreased mobility in a patient group from child to adult. Enemeez® has also been used with acute rehabilitation patients with such diagnoses as spinal cord injuries, cerebral vascular accidents, fractures, joint replacements, and closed head injuries. In bowel management programs Enemeez helps establish a more predictable bowel routine along with reducing the likelihood of bowel accidents and incontinence.
